Stopping Autofollow
sup all, i got a problem. im finishing off my 67 druid in shadowmoon valley, and i have my 70 hunter following him around. i have the hunter's attack bar filled w/ macros and im using autohotkey so that i can control him w/ my druid. basically i cant find a way to cancel his /follow so that he can stay at range and pew my target instead of running up and meleeing. my current macros for the hunter are:
AutoFollow
/follow focus
Attack
/assist focus
/cast Hunter's Mark(Rank 4)
/startattack
it all works fine if i swap over to the hunter and posistion him, but that kinda defeats the purpose...
i would like to have a command in the Attack macro that stopped autofollow.
thanks in advance

/follow (yourself) should break follow? It used to anyway.

You could bind a key that makes the hunter just simply "Step backwards"

I have the same problem. :(
I have my mage auto-following my warrior and need a way to stop the auto follow.
Tried a few things nothings worked.
BTW didn't plan on dual boxing started wow leveling my warrior to 52 got bored, made a mage, and just dinged 52 on it. Woulda made a preist if i was :P

:) figured out a answer
I'm using autohotkey, all I had to do was make 'q' on of the cloned buttons.
since i never use 'q' when i press it, my mage turns just a little, not enough to turn away from the mob i want to kill.
works pretty well hope this helps ya
