So this weekend I was screwing around and figured it wouldn't be a bad idea to take one of my guys into a PUG naxx I saw advertised. Once they invited me I saw they had like 8 of the 25 we needed so I mentioned I could bring another shaman and they pulled him in. By the time we hit the first boss and wiped because people didn't stay out of the locust swarm we discovered one of the warlocks was a complete deadbeat who didn't have cold weather flying yet and was going to need summoned every wipe so they dropped him, and up steps # 3 shaman.
So I'm in 3 different groups and as we clear spider wing and bosses I'm dropping poison cleanse and dpsing my ass off, my gears still a bit low on +hit for raiding but I held my own on DPS the whole way. We did Spider, Plague and called it quits due to time on the 4 horsemen, but all of those were very easy to achieve. I even managed the safety dance with only losing 1 shaman once. (Ank and recovered after the other 2 were safely back on stage.)
I'm not sure Grobbulous would have been any fun, and I am pretty sure I couldn't easily do thaddius without a lot of special setup, but everything else there seems pretty doable.
If you ever do abom wing, here's some tips on grob and thad:
Grob: Just make a key to cleans disease on target=player for all shamans, make sure you get dbm as well. The shammy that gets injected, run out, just far enough away, cleanse, run back. On 25 it's really easy, 10 man it's very doable too but a bit harder.
Thad 10: Just have the whole raid spread out 10 yards, no one swapping buffs, it's easy to kill him before enrage without bothering on 10 man with the buffs.
Thadd 25: ideally you need to swap charges effectively. There's a way fo doing so with individual strafe buttons for each char. But if your group has enough dps you can just place two shaman out of range on dps mode and do charges with only one.
