Following with vehicles (3.08)

I don't know the extent of all the changes from last patch, but last night I happened to do the shredder daily in Grizzly Hills and noticed that my shredder vehicles were now able to follow. Normally, I get a guy in a shredder and send him in the general direction of the turn in, but as I was working on the second one, I noticed the 1st began to follow when I hit the follow key rather than the message telling me that it's not allowed.

Has anybody else noticed any changes regarding following with vehicles?

Since the shredder quest only required 3 of them, they were still all following a shaman and not a vehicle, but the fact that it actually let me follow was a nice change. I tried to follow one that was in a shredder and that didn't work, but only because it's trying to follow my shaman by name and not the vehicle. I didn't mess around with it long enough to see what all the changes were.

Maybe someone will figure out a clever macro that will target your leader and pick his vehicle to follow. This may be very good news as boxing WG vehicles may now be possible.

If you are using a Focusless/Targetless Leader Setup you can see how I macroed the follow and use capabilities for Vehicles.

Its a blast using 5 drakes at once.

Able to /follow /assist players on vehicles / mounts now

Interesting. I have no clue how I missed that one as I tend to peak on the forums every day at work. :D
