Glyph of Fire Elemental

Shaman (Skills List / Talent + Glyph Calc.)

* Glyph of Earth Shock - Renamed to Glyph of Shocking - Reduces the global cooldown triggered by your shock spells by 0.5 sec. (Old - Reduced the GCD triggered by Earth Shock by 1 second)
* Glyph of Thunderstorm -- Increases the mana you receive from your Thunderstorm ability by 2%, but the spell no longer knocks enemies back.
* Glyph of Windfury Weapon - Increases the chance per swing for Windfury Weapon to trigger by 5%. (Old - The attack power bonus on the additional attacks granted by Windfury Weapon is increased by 40%.)
* Glyph of Fire Nova Totem - Reduces the cooldown of your Fire Nova Totem by 3 seconds. (Old - Increases the radius of Fire Nova Totem's effect by 2 yards.)
* Glyph of Fire Elemental Totem - Reduces the cooldown of your Fire Elemental Totem by 10 min. (Up from 4 minutes)
* Glyph of Astral Recall - Cooldown of your Astral Recall spell reduced by 7.5 min. (Up from 2.5 min)
* Glyph of Renewed Life - Your Reincarnation spell no longer requires a reagent. (Old - All stats increased by 5% for 1 min when you Reincarnate.)


The cooldown of Fire Elemental is currently 20min, the old Glyph removed only 4 minuts which would leave us a cooldown of 16min which exactly ment we could not use them in arena
but with this new Glyph it will drag the cooldown down to 10min. Could this mean we are going a time in meet where we could actually use Fire Elementals in Arena ?

Why ask if you are going to question the answer?

Join an arena and see for yourself that it won't work.

and because I dont know "why" it shouldn´t work

All I know is that the glyph was changed right before Lich king release because that glyph made them useable in arena.
But i dont know if that was a bug or so, atleast it got changed to 16min exactly to prevent the use of them in Arena

Yes, but did they ever make the elemental higher than BC level? Because if they did, it's news to me.

That was just a bug m8, they are chanced to level 80

Wont the increased magma totem dmg be way better anyways. Since the Fire Elementals is easy to just fear away :P. Anyways it wont work in arena

Fire elementals suck anyways, I havent bother to drop these guys in ages since Lich King came out. I mean I have to lose my fire totems until they die. Who wants to lose Nova, Magma and Totem of Wrath =(
Plus they dont seem to do as much damage as they did at 70, they need to be updated. I would like them to be a major threat if I can't use them in arena. Btw, if you were wondering, cooldowns are checked before talents/glyphs adjust them, so that is why they aren't usable in arena.
