Is it possible to have an alt mine a node that your main is targeting?

I found a similar macro for skinning but was curious if there's something like it that will work for mining.

Or...you could move to the alts window and click on the node.

(I don't think you can target ore nodes)

Nodes can't be targeted.

Can something not be set up using mouseover?

No character other than the one with the mouse on their screen can see the mouseover target. Since you can not target a node there is no way for another character to see what you have targeted. Mining has to be done manually by the miner. If you were to broadcast the mouse and it was in the same relative position on each screen and each character was facing the same way with the exact same camera view it would be possible, however, it's a lot easier to simply jump over to the miner and mine then go back to the main.

Unfortunately, Skinning is the only collection profession that can be delegated.

Fortunately, mining only takes 1 hit (afaik) as of today.

you can zoom in on all your chars while facing the node. then assign a mousekey to a button. hopefully they're facing the node.
