Bartender 4.0 & X-Perl Unit Frames.
Well I like mine, the spot to the right of the player/target tags is for the group.

Both of those are huge memory hogs. Try AG_unitframes and dominos for action bars. much more lightweight and both do exactly what are looking for.Quote:

i also have xperl and bartender4.
This might just be me, but I'm hardware boxing, so memory is less of a problem for me than others. But I'm a fan of bartender 4 and Pitbull. That, and whatever other things I find handy.
Not really. I use those two, plus a bunch of other mods and they all use a total of about 24mb.Quote:

Mostly I use Pitbull + Dominos, but am inching toward adding Macaroon as my druids' macro requirements are running over the Blizzard UI limits. I also wanna try an FTL setup to reserve focus for rooting and hibernation.
I like some eye candy with my UI, and with 8GB RAM I can spare the memory just running two instances of WoW.
My UI Setup
That is using SpartanUI (Bartender4 included) with some other stuff in there.
Bartender4 using 1.2MB
Spartan using .3MB
*shrug* I use 65 add-ons on my main with only Omen on my alts, but I don't have a problem running 6 instances of WoW with 4GB of RAM. I do agree that 3D unit frames are a resource hog, especially on the videocard for tacking on more chunks of triangles to render. I did love Bongos2 though, and I know that the developer of Bongos went on to make Dominoes as a "cleaned-up" version of Bongos.. so I may give it a try some day. Action bars and unit frames are by far the most time consuming aspect of a UI to set up though, so I doubt I'll change soon.Quote:
