Buying a new laptop
Anyone know of a good place to buy a good laptop?
Im looking to spend around 2k and have looked at some alienwares but since you can't really "build" a laptop for cheaper like you can a desktop i'm lost as to other sites to look at...
So far i've tried Newegg and they dont really have any great laptops
Bestbuy.com i'de rather stay away from but they did have 1 decent toshiba
and like i said i've looked at the alienware... But their good gaming laptops start at 2k and they are rediculously priced for what you actually get.
Anyways, anyone have a favorite site or suggestion?

One thing to remember though. the bigger, more powerful the laptop the faster the battery is gonna die. i spent $1500 on one of the big asus laptops. i can MB on it for sure but i mostly use it for solo play when im out and about but the battery last like 90 mins when im solo boxing. My friend has a cheap Hp that last like 3 hours and plays one client just fine...if i would have thought about it more i would have gotten a cheaper on. guess i could spend the cash on a better battery or even an extra. but its more of a hassle.

i ended up getting a freakin gateway of all things, i know i was thinking a gateway? really?
but the specs are insane for the price, i'm actually on it right now in my living room, my wife might finally get to see me :P
anyways, the specs are
4gigs of ddr3
9800 gtx
2x 2.6 intel centrino
400g hard drive
and vista home premium 64
price was around 1200 buck with a carrying case.
