Pitbull config issue

I downloaded and installed Pitbull. Then after getting it all set up, copied the setup to all my alts. After firing up WoW to try out my new config, I found the group windows out of position. I turned the config on, and they went back into place, so I turned it off and went to start playing, but they had moved again.
They are setup in the square formation, but keep moving into the line, even though I have the "put them in a square" box checked in both the individual party and party modules and the "everything" option.
Have I missed something? Is this addon still being developed? Is there another addon I can use that is simple to figure out, but offer the options bitbull does?

Edit: After poking around some addon sites, I found AG Unit Frames. Looks similar to Pitbull, and it's easier to configure. I didn't want extreme configurability, but what it does is good enough for me. I'll use it for now.
