You were my first HK :)
Crazy that the first horde I see is a boxer. I normally don't just attack people but that was obviously meant to be!
glo,
If you don't mind me asking, i was curious on how you are playing your group of DK's (talents, tactics, etc)? I've rolled a group of 5 human DK's spec'd mostly unholy with a bit of blood but it just feels kind of clumsy to me playing so many melee characters.
I have 4.5 blood. Trust me, when you have some crit (I got crap, 18%), and some BIG (and slow) weapons and swing them, you smack the HELL out of people. It is kinda fun. On top of that, if you screw up, just push a few diseases and deathstrike back to full heath. I use Draenei for their HOT (GotN). I use 36 blood to get vampiric blood, then frost to get lich and the obliterate disease thingy and then rest unholy. I am more of defense player though, so others might go for more crit or damage. I just want to live through everything.
You can laugh at my char if you want: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-s...a&n=Electdrdkn
PS: I have my alts pull so the mob stands on top of my main, then everyone can attack and all be in range.
Ever think of a blood/frost build like this?
A funky build.
Or this:
Funky Build 2With Mark of Blood/Rune Tap(Improved)/Vampiric Blood
(This is assuming hysteria stacks)
Well...those could be fun at 80.
Hi, I'm actually very happy with my brand new team ... started 55 (of course) and hit 70 in 2d 15h of /played.. my 4 DKs are really impressive versus single target and even on multiple target with their AOE (I manually switch from screen to screen to cast the aoe.. this isn't as bad as I espected) I can take up to 15 mobs at a time and this numbers grows with the stuff and stamina...
I was also afraid of boxing melee class.. but jamba took this fear away : I use the autofollow strobe setting wich force my toons to follow me each second of their lives
then the melee fights aren't breaking the follow, and the range of the dual hand Axe is enough not to be worried about the followers ...
I'm of course overcasting the Icy Touch which is one of my favorites spell...
give'em a shot.. you'll be pleased with their power.. they are instantly killing most of the targets just after the death Grip.. this burst can't be accomplished with my shamans who are casting a lightning bolt and sometimes a random shock to get rid of a mob.
thanks for the templates, I'm using atm a messy template which is not the same on all my toons ...
Can't offer much in the way of helpful input right now, I only have about 4 hours /played and 5 deathknights don't need to do much for a mob to go down. I only had 3 keybinds until the fight above ;)Quote:

Haven't given much thought to any of this, I basically went down the blood tree picking what looked good for survivability. I deathgrip with one of the followers which drops the mob on top of my main and in melee range for all of them, plague strike brings normal mobs down, I hit death strike if it doesn't to finish the mob and get a little health. The couple elites I have seen so far allowed me to try out death coil and I rune tap to keep everyone topped off.
If blood aura stacking stays i'll def pick up my 5 DK squad again. I was going unholy for the 5 perm ghouls and extra disease damage and down blood enough to get improved runetap (with the glyph for a full party 60% heal). Was working out ok and i managed to do a full ramps clear at 60 or 61. 5 Antimagic zones made the instance a lot easier then it should have been with 5 melee and no healer. Glyph of Death and Decay helps a lot on big pulls as 5 of em layed down keeps the mobs terrified for a lot of the fight.
I've been boxing on LH for many months and only seen Glo once on aldor rise. Never seen any other alliance boxers either :(
I'm happy to have seen a few horde boxers now, i wonder if they get the questions i used to get many monthes ago which was always:
"Are you that glo dude, i hate when you kill me on QD"
Not sure why people would think a tauren shaman group also has an alliance draeni group but that's how i heard about the "Glotrain". Hope to hear more about all DK teams as i think they will be a lot of fun. Paladin might not be the best healer but i think an all plate party would be cool too.
Peace
What groups/levels do you have horde side Mamut? I started multiboxing on Turylon (PvE) with some friends but I'm a PvPer so had to switch servers.
I have a few teams i've been messing around with lately.
4 Shaman with a DK tank at 75. 4 Locks/Priest at 63 and a new Druid team at 70. With the holidays being so busy for me all of them maxed out rested. I hope to get the druids to 80 within a week or 2 and have the others get there as as rested allows. All these gather quests in northrend are getting tedious so its nice to bounce back and forth using rested up.
