Keyclone 1.8k Badly formatted error

I have seen a few other topics on this issue but none with an answer and none with my exact situation.

I have two computers (PCA and PCB)

I have purchased one license for PCA and I am able to use Keyclone on it ok. However I load keyclone on PCB and try and connect to it from PCA. on PCB I am getting the "Badly Formatted" message and sometimes if I reboot both computers then launch Keyclone then I can get them to connect and clone keys but only for a short time, after about 5 min it will disconnect and they will not reconnect.

I had this setup working perfectly before I swapped out my second PC (PCB) but since that is not the PC that my license is tied to it should work correct?

any suggestions on whats going on?

Did you buy 1 copy? or two copies? For 2 pc's you need 2.

If thats the case ill gladly buy another license, however I could swear that when I purchased the one I have, I read somwhere on this site you only need one license,

the 2nd PC cannot connect outbound to any PC, only my licensed PC can connect outbound. It worked that way for me for months.

you could be right and I could be wrong tho, has anyone else been able to work it that way?

If the Author says im ripping him off, or someone can show me where it says i need two licenses, ill just buy another license.

I have 3 copies of key clone.... each license is only for one pc. You can run as many clients as you like on one pc, but for 2 pcs, 2 licenses.

yes, the keyclone license can only be associated with one keyclone system-id at a time... so you would need a license for each machine.
