10.5.6 is released now?
Yes, since yesterday.Quote:

Synergy works only between 2 physical machines, not between two applications on the same system. Some WoW'er that are way more technical able than I have investigated the problem and it seems that the OS update only broke the functionality of ClonedKeys for WoW but not for other applications, which makes the error really weird.Quote:

As a side note, I moved from Linux (Gentoo) to Mac OS X, and while still running Linux under VMware Fusion for fun, I stick with the Apple OS. Thanks :)
Have fun out there ... Ohitekah
I think a multiboxer has angered (pwned) an Apple employee who works on Mac updates. This sucks! I thought I messed something up but then I found the couple posts online about the same problem. I guess if your lucky enough to have not updated...don't. Is there any way to uninstall a mac update?
Not really. I contacted Apple yesterday. The only way is to reinstall and manually patch to 10.5.5 ... or, if you are anal about your backups as I am, revert back to your last Time Machine backup. I will wait another day or two and see how this develops before restoring back to 10.5.5Quote:

Wow, this really is bad. At first I wasn't sure what could be wrong, but then it occurred to me that the only thing that had changed since it was last working is that I had installed the update.
What do you suppose the odds are that Robert Jenkins, the CloneKeys developer, will find a fix? If he's still using his own software, I'm sure he's on it.
I hope I do not break any rules in pointing to this tread on the WoW Mac Forum where some of us are trying to get a grip on that problem:

There are now links to temporary versions of CloneKeys and ClonedKeys with a work-around in the WoW forum (including source). The problem appears to be a changed in Apple's code such that focus was being unset when WoW went into the background (probably just a bug fix, and not targeted at any app in particular). The work-around is to send a fake focus event to WoW to make it think it has the user focus again.
Thanks cmore you R-O-C-K !!! Back to playing ...
