MacroWorks & X-Keys USB

Any chance to run the X-Keys without Macroworks running in the background?

I'm thinking about hardware-multiboxing 8)
- 5 PCs
- Vetra USB Multicaster
- X-Keys Pro 58 USB connected to the Multicaster

but I don't want to run any third party software
(so I don't want to have MacroWorks running while I'm playing).

Using MacroWorks for configuring the X-Keys is OK, but I'd like
to shut it down completely when I run Warcraft.

any chance to run the x-keys without the software?
or do I need to buy myself the PS/2 version again?

I run my x-keys USB without the macroworks software running in the background, however I'm using it as a 20 key gamepad and using Innerspace to manage what the buttons do. That said i still had to load macroworks and clear all the keys for this to work. I believe that the USB XKeys have a small amount of memory in which they store basic keystrokes. Once I had loaded macroworks, wiped the profiles clean, I was then able to close macroworks and haven't had to look back.

The G15 keyboard is quite similar except I have to load Logitechs software EACH boot, so my stored profile there can wipe the F1-F12 keys from the buttons.

In the event you find that you can't make it work with the USB XKeys pro I have a PS2 XKeys pro and would happily buy your USB/Sell my PS2 as the USB works incredibly well with InnerSpace. (Why buy for the same price instead of trade? Because with PayPal we can cross ship the products and if the other person doesn't ship we can be protected from fraud, not that I think you would cheat me, but on the itnernet you simply don't trust anyone, because someone will screw you the moment you do :)).
