Ok so when the season starts you can either try and get hateful with a rating or buy savage that requires no rating. Which one you guys buying first? I think with 75k banked honor you can get boots, belt, bracer or cloak and have a small amount of honor left. Hateful non set epics.
Not so sure yet. Will the new pvp gear require marks of honor to purchase? There seems to be very little info about this.
Anyway my general idea is to try to get as much epic PvE gear as possible before S5, that doesn't overlap with the honor/pvp gear.
For example, I will get the epic emblem shield, and the epic gloves from Wyrmrest. Kinda.. annoying to give up the gloves range bonus though on shocks.. bleh.
To be honest, I'm not sure. I expect to be forced into a lot of crappy BG grinds once S5 goes live.
Verdict is still out for me until I can confirm what all the stuff really costs but heres what i've come across browsing AJ forums, personally i'm leaning towards waiting a week for the deadly accessories (rating reqs are very low) and then going to hateful armor pieces. On the other hand Honor seems faster to farm relatively, even considering the new costs of items, just winning 1 wintergrasp a day for the dalies is crazy honor (great way to farm honor for casual playtime folks imo). So, If you dont mind spending the honor twice so the hateful accessories might be worth getting right away on tuesday as well

Wont start to focus hard on arena untill i atleast get some decent pve pices for damage to burst people down.
Has blizzard said anything about the marks of honor?
If the gear won't require them (which it doesn't according to databases), what's the point with marks? To do the honor quest?
marks for ab wsg eots sota are used to turn into the quest that gives you like 1k honor. I have a ton of all the marks except wsg. I hate that damn bg so I wont be turning any marks in for honor.Quote:
