Halls of Stone

So I finally started running Halls of Stone (reg) yesterday and I am loving it, Great experience.
I have most of it down, can clear all the trash no problem, Krystalus is cake when you get your starting positions set right and once I figured out my movements Maiden of Grief dies every time now too. The problem I am having is with the event. While I do not wipe, Brann dies every time.

My make up is
Prot Warrior
Holy Palladin
Shadow Priest
Balance Druid
Arcane Mage

Any thoughts or hints for boxing this event.

I used to level a bit i HoS normal as well. I found that it worked best when I skipped the Brann event :P... But, if you insist on doing it, I found that it works best if you just line up in front of him, facing the small staircase. That way you'll be able to intercept alle the mobs before they reach him. As the event progresses, those faces will start to puke on you and you need to move your team back and forth out of the area of effect. If you do this and make sure you grab all the adds (I used consecration etc.) it should be doable (but not very good xp).

I think it'll be a nightmare in heroic, but I haven't gotten to that point yet - fortunately :)

I have been taking one shot at it then reseting and comming back in for more exp. But I am getting sick of not actually completing an instance. Was hoping this would be the one.
Guess I still need more gear. My dps are only putting out about 900dps sustained, all are below 1k spell power still

My Best attempts at instance clears were Drak'Tharon and Gur'Durk or whatever its called. All the other instances so far I cannot complete. All the last bosses in UK, Nexus, AN, Old Kingdom. I can make it to all the final bosses in these but not beat them.

Hmmm, I found the final boss in UK and Nexus easier than all the other bosses in the instances...but they require fast reactions - maybe this is where the problem is? The UK final boss is impossible without an enemy cast bar mod that shows you what hes casting and when - do you have one of those? For the final boss in nexus you absolutely need some way to see exactly how much damage your clones are taking so you know when to jump to maximize DPS.

I ran 2 of my characters (tank and mage) through nexus with some guildies. Our first attempt at the dragon was miserable.
My mage ran out of mana and did around 450dps
The second attempt I changed my castsequence to nothing but instant cast spells.
Mana was no longer an issue and my dps jumped to almost 900. but tanking and dps'ing makes things a little more important to focus on the tank.

Yeah I have the enemy cast bar up. I always get hit by a Dark Smash on my pally for some reason, and it does 10k damage and that pretty much seals me in. Other then that I got it down. I do see it but I guess I just don't react fast enough.
