ok whats the best 5v5 box character setup for lvling 1-70 and why
from other posts like this one, you need to ask yourself a few questions first.
Mainly, what is your end-game goal? Do you want to be able to clear heroics and do PVE content the best possible way? Or do you want to PvP in the best possible way.
For PvE heroics, the general consensus (this is not just my opinion, but many others) is that you need a pally/warrior tank, 3 dps in some combo of locks and mages, and 1 main healer (people like holy priests for the AOE heals, but it could be a shaman or any other healer really). Examples:
- pally, mage, mage, lock, priest - 2 sheeps, 1 soulstone, aoe tanking
- warrior, mage, lock, lock, priest - 1 sheep, 2 soulstones, better damage mitigation from the tank
personally, I'm doing warrior, mage, mage, lock, priest.
For PVP, there are all sorts of possibilities, most of which include AOE healing:
-5 shamans
-4 locks, 1 priest
-4 mages, 1 priest
