How do you keep your characters "in sync"? So they don't run off?
I'm using octopus and it works great, my system can handle it too. I'm running two windows of wow on the same system.
The issue is, how do you sync your characters?
Like, character 1 is facing 90 degrees east for example.
Character 2 is facing 88 degrees east.
So when I press W and go forward for a while, eventually they get further and further apart, like a triangle. I try to get them to face the same exact way, but it's nearly impossible to get it exact.
If tell one to follow the other, he follows fine, but you know how they always trail a few meters behind you. That makes it hard to manuever indoors. Not only that but they aren't always facing the same way as you.
How do you guys get past these problems? Clearly i'm missing something, I've searched and searched and can't find how this is dealt with.

Keys work only for a few meters, the rest is only autofollow, just practice how you need to run so the follower doesn't get stuck, and change where you are to turn them.

You UN-bind the "wasd" movement and "eq" strafe keys on the "alt" and only keep them bound on the "main".

As of now, there is no way to do what you want. Between your local network lag, WoW server lag, and the less then precise directional capabilities of the movement system, you will not be able to move more then one character using one set of keys and have them stay in the exact path.

When your moving inside make sure you take a wider then normal turn with your main and you will never get stuck. Also found out something at inns just hug the outside walls when you log off. You can get rested and log off on mounts so when you comeback on later invite macro,accept macro, focus, follow, and go. So much faster lol.

I was looking for a gentle way to question whether you'd fully read the opening post, while leaving it open in case you really did know a trick to make it work. Nice video though.

That helps if you're using follow (like we have to) and have no keybinds available to you. The OP is already discussing several of the issues involved with using follow such as the followers being a ways behind you, difficulty moving indoors, and facing issues. Again, nice video - but your post makes no sense. Did you read it all?
Like Maxion said, you're stuck with /follow over any substantial distance because it's impossible to keep the angles aligned well enough to just pass movement keys.
Some of the follow issues can be mitigated by things like Jamba's strobing and monitoring for follow breaking, and by experience maneuvering. It will always be more complicated than a single character, but you learn not to get stuck nearly as much through careful maneuvering. Follow works best in straight lines, for example, so you take spirals in a slow series of movements where the followers can always come to you in a straight line. Jumping also helps with many path issues.

I didn't answer this. Mis-quote on my part. My sincerest apologies for the inconvenience -- I didn't realize I was being rude. I simply asked if the OP (responding to my post) actually watched the video or was asking a followup question prior to reading my full response. If so, then there is ambiguity in the video that needs addressing.
There is a difference between "Did you even WATCH the video?" and "Did you watch the video?". If I wanted to be snide, I'd make it clear via emotes and/or things like *sarcasm*.

...are any different. Yours offers solutions to mitigate the hassle, but I personally haven't used anything like Jamba so I wouldn't have any experiences to share with the OP about it. Mine offers a firsthand example of WHY not using follow is a bother (at 1:50 in the video) and WHAT you can do to fix it ("/follow" macro).
