Escort quests....

Anyone have a macro that accepts escort quests across the group?...so painful swithing between toons, once one guy accepts the quest:(

This is considered one of the must have macro's it includes what you are looking for. Have you thought about using a mod like Jamba or Multiboxer?

i use jamba addon. i accept quest on my main, everyone else auto-accepts.

Thanks, this looks just like what I'm looking for:) Hated chasing that chicken in Feralas, moved too fast for accepting 1 at a time.
I haven't tried either add-on......I'm lazy:) I read some of the stuff on Jamba though, looked like it had some setting up to do. Probably once I gt to 70 I'll spend the time trying out both of them, see which ones works best for me. (I'm slow to try to learn new things sometimes.)

Gods, I sound like I'm plugging - aw heck, maybe a little, but this kind of low-overhead stuff was exactly why I wrote it:

Can have it auto accept escorts/events.

Very useful for quest gossip and taxi follow, but if you're looking at it for full features, try Jamba.

One strange thing about escort quest or even some quest to kill named mobs. Using Jamba I have a habit of opening the quest window on each toon than progressing through the selections on my main with my clones following suit. Sometimes I will hit accept on the main which of course the clones do as well and when I complete the quest some of the clones do not get credit. This happened on Ring of Blood I had to do it twice and it happens on many escort quest. Anyone else have this issue?

Yes. i've done this several times on my alts and realized the pattern. now, for escorts, i only open the dialog window with my main and not with my slaves.

Ditto to the above. I only open the escort or group quests (ring of blood) on the main/master and the slaves accept it everytime. Jamba has this one down perfect.

The only one I had issues with was the Dragonmaw fortress 5 man encounter, but everyone has problems with that regardless of MB or not. Everyone accepts and lets tank die. Then run into room while tank drops quest and starts event again then tank drags elite into room. Really screwy that one was.

Ya.. had the same thing a few times.

If it is a group quest or an escort, only opening the window on the main will have the alts accept it as well.
Having the window open for all of them, and they'll each try to accept it, with some getting it and others not.
