It's entirely possible - two of my machines run Vista and I have zero issues with interoperability both with each other and with my XP machines, so far as boxing goes.
What sort of problem are you getting?
I ran into the same thing when I had both OS'es. You'll have to install some vista network discovery thingy on the XP computer. I can't really remember, it's a while ago, but it was available as a download directly from Microsoft's pages.
That's interesting.
I didn't download / change a thing on my XP boxes. I literally brought my Vista boxes home, stuck them on the router, and everyone could see each other quite happily.
Well i dont know whats wrong, it just seem's like they wont contect :(
kayb: Do you think you could find out of witch program that was ?
What hardware are you using to connect them through?
As i wrote: I'v tryed Multibox_Modified and SynergyWithBroadcast.
:)
Hardware. Read it again, HARDWARE, Router, Switch etc? Can you connect to that PC using any other software? can you ping the other PC, etc.
Ohh sorry xD
Im using a router and im not using wireless net.
I'v also tryed to take my firewall off on both computers
Can you ping Computer A from Computer B ?
