Just a quick hello

Hi,

About to embark upon a 2-boxing WoW adventure just to see what it is like. Probably AHK with 2 accounts on the same machine (2 monitors). I finished downloading and updating to the latest WoW last night so will be re-activating my 2 accounts and try to get my setup going tonight.

It is going to be either 2 mages or 2 warlocks to start off with. Macroing should be quick and easy.

Anyway, just thought I'd post to say hello and thank you for all the great information posted here. I have glanced through some of the stickies and they all seem very informative.

My first experience:

• Multi monitor issues:
  
  I have a 22" and 17" LCD with the 22" having an optimal resolution of 1680x1050 and the 17" 1280x1024. Both monitors are hooked up to the same graphics card and I set them to run in their optimal resolutions.
  
  Whenever I drag my 2nd WoW session to the 2nd monitor my performance goes down the crapper. I suspect this is because of the resolution difference. I haven't tried running the 22" in 1280x1024 yet but might give it a go tonight although reluctantly.
  
  Anyone know if this is a hardware issue, ie if I run a 2nd video card will I be able to run the 2 monitors in different resolutions? Or is it a OS problem? I am running XP64 btw.
  
• Quest, Loot:
  
  I still have to switch sessions to turn in quests and loot quest items but as far as I am aware that can't be helped.
  
• AHK:
  
  I still need to modify my AHK script a bit, started with the example one posted. Occasionally it misses a keystroke and I have to pay attention to how I move to get my 2nd mage to face the right direction.
  
  I am considering arcane missiles as an opener for my 2nd mage to eliminate any line of sight issues, they are still only level 4 though :)
  

All in all very entertaining, I am having a blast with the 2 mages.
