Problems with Maximizer and New monitor

So, I can't get maximizer to work properly with the new monitor.

My new monitor is a samsung syncmaster t220. Optimum resolution is 1600x1050. The 2nd monitor is a dell lcd screen from an old pc. Runs at 1280x1024.

In maximizer when I setup all clients. 1 on Samsung. 4 on Dell. It won't position the 4 clients correctly on the dell and I don't have the option to select the 1600x1050(wide) in maximizer. Even though it's available in wow.
So I can't setup as one large desktop (horizontal), because it won't let me select the correct resolution through nvidia control panel. No matter how I set it up, one of the monitors will eventually cut out saying it's not the right resolution.
So I set them up as dual view, seperate resolutions. Great I can view my screens without issues.
Now when setting up maximizer like so (view screenshots), My screens are all fubars, like the main won't be full screen on the samsung, the slaves on left side of 2nd monitor will actually be split between the samsung and the 2nd monitor and the slaves on right of 2nd monitor will be overlapping the other 2 of the 2nd monitor.
Wondering if anyone has had the same issues and was able to resolve it or if anyone has some insight to how much of an Idiot I am.
