Another DK thread (tanking castsequence and death runes)

First off, can someone answer this for me - the talent that makes your blood strike/blood boil turn a blood rune into a death rune - does this turn the one that is used into a death rune (ie: not consume a rune at all really?) or turn the 2nd blood rune into a death rune meaning you still only have "1" blood rune left? This makes a huge difference on whether I would take this talent or not.

Aside from that, has anyone come up with a good tanking castsequence that involves as little thinking as possible? Heres mine so far (tends to work pretty good - gets caught up near blood boil because of no blood runes which is why I asked the death rune question):

/castsequence reset=target Icy Touch,Plague Strike,Pestilence,Death Strike,Scourge Strike,Death Coil,Blood Boil,Corpse Explosion

I also have a separate key to drop death and decay (just after icy touch). This holds aggro quite well and makes it so I can simply spam 1 key to tank pretty much unless I need to drop a second death and decay.
