For quests like the one where you ride the Rocket Jump Robots or the Griphens in Wintergarde I can't get follow to work. How have other multiboxers been handling these quests?

Painfully so far. Only had 1 though.
There were a few in the death knights starting area...
And no, you can not auto follow anyone while in a vehicle, so anything involving a vehicle on anyone but the main will be a pain for multiboxers.
(didn't help that on the death knight one with the dragon, it didn't give group credit for kills either)
Ok, I too ran into problems with vehicles.
You can do one of several things:
1) Try having your other toons sit in vehicle too... some (like in battlegrounds) allow multiple riders
2) if not, try just mounting your MAIN in the vehicle and have your other toons follow. I was able to do that with "fresh remounts" and with the plague spreader quest ... other toons got credit cuz they were close... didn't have to do individually.
3) move em all individually near where you need to be and pull things close enough to get credit ... I did that on a flying quest in wyrmrest... I mounted the dragon with other toons sitting on ledge, and completed the kills by pulling the drakes near enough for them to get credit. then all I had to do was dash off to the final objective on each toon in succession.
4) Just do it N times where N= number of toons... I actually REALLY enjoyed the first tank one (the one with the horde tank by the misty harbor) and liked running it 3 times.
I totally enjoyed the one southwest of Warsong Hold. it was one of those that i would not want to box.
after gathering parts to make the tanks work, you get to ride one into scourge areas and kill them. well i did that one over and over and over and over. turn in quest but couldnt repeat it. this is when dual boxers get a secon try to bomb scourge to their hearts content. after about 20 minutes of driving in circles gathering mobs, pressing the landmines button, and returning to get a new tank after the current one took too much of a beating, i got my fix and turned in the quest. i guess some vehicle quests are better than others and are worth doing 2, 3, 4 or 30 times.
