Lets compare, Pally vs DK main with 4 shamans for PvE and PvP

I have a pally I always planned on leveling up to be the tank for my shamans. I never really bothered with it though because the pally is only a fraction as useful for PvP as a 5th shaman would be (for world/bg pvp not arena).

Anyway now that DKs are here, I'm thinking they might have enough PvP utility to be good PvE tanks for 4 shamans but also contribute as much or MORE towards PvP than a 5th shaman.

Input? Comparisons? Compare the following 3 teams for PvE and PvP viability:

5 shamans
1 pally 4 shamans
1 DK 4 shamans

LOL, you sound like one of my textbooks for an Intellectual Property course I took during my undergrad awhile back.

5 Shaman -

PVP: Single target insta kill, stoppable by stuns, whirlwinds, etc.
PVE: Amazing DPS, sturdy, great viability/surviability

1 Pally 4 Shaman -

My original team :-)

PvP: Single target insta kill - stoppable by stuns, whirlwinds, etc. Hard to kill the Paladin
PvE: Great DPS, threat management, agro mgmt - can do all instances without issues

1 DK 4 shammi -
PvP: Scorpion's "GET OVER HERE!" Mortal Kombat quote; pull a target, kill a target; bounce a target around (thunderstorm)
PvE: less threat mgmt than a paladin, but still workable, less protection but more damage output.

Heres another thought also, what is the best MB spec for a DK main? I think its unholy and heres why:

More PvP utility with reduced death grip cooldown, AoEs, etc
Can still use frost presence to get the extra armor/threat generation for PvE
Permanent pet for off tanking/additional aggro, etc
More AoE for less "thinking" while tanking for 4 shamans.

Ebon Plague --> Unholy.

Going to have to try it sooner or later, if only for Death Grip/Thunderstorm combos.
