Need help with Mage Builds :)

Just turned level 18 and realized that I forgot about builds.

1x Paladin (tank)
3x Mage
1x Shaman (healer)

The Paladin and Shaman were easy to figure out as they have a defined role in my 5-man.

The 3 mages... don't build to use.

From what I understand, Arcane is good as it doesn't pull agro as much for good consistent DPS. Fire is good with it's high DPS, but could get agro along with it. Frost is said to be good for 5-mans with it's survivability.

Which builds do you guys recommend for my 3 mages? And all 3 with the same build, or a different one for each one...?

Which build doesn't matter much, what matters is that they have the same cast-time. You'll be nuking with either arcane missiles, frostbolt or firebolt. I kinda like the frostbolt for now due to the extra control it gives. Mobs that try to run away wont be running very fast and aggroing more mobs. BTW you might wanna check out the last comment in my blog. I'm making some changes to my team, and since you have the same team you'd maybe do the same thing at a later stage.

Without Water Elementalx6 (cold snap) I would probably never have taken down Emperor Dagran Thaurissan with level 55 dps.

mister Kayb, what are the macros you use for your Paladin please. Your UI bars look so clean, while mine are just an utter mess.

Taunt and mouseover cleanse. Thats pretty much it.

I specced my 3x mages to frost. Seems to be working out fine. :)

Did my first run last (Wailing Caverns), had a several wipes from a couple of mistakes. Cleared 3 of the bosses. Mostly because this was my first time here and got lost in the winding maze of a tunnel. Would turn a corner without peaking and oops... 4-5 mobs on me. :)

Should be able to clear it tonight after doing some reading and getting a map to figure out where to go.

Also need to work on my "Panic" button. Right now, my mages Frost Nova, Pali Divine Protection.. and RUN. Need to learn to sheep better.

Now I'm wondering if I should also swap out one of the mages...
