new in 3.03 - ability to DISABLE server storing of macros/keybindings
One thing that kinda bugged me about 3.0 was how WoW now stores all its macros/keybindings server-side. Its great most of the time, but for two of my multiboxers I had a great setup pre 3.0 that let me have two client directories and I could run it in "multibox mode" or "solo mode", letting me have completely different UI and keybind settings.
Fortunately 3.0 brings back a way to do this, I dug it up in this thread:
http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/th...=1&pageNo=2#34
I logged in, ran the command above:
/console synchronizeBindings 0
logged off, manually went to my WTF\config.wtf folders and added:
SET synchronizeBindings "0"
to the end for each character that I don't want server-side keybindings. And it worked great! Now I can run my mage off wow4\ for multibox mode, and wow44\ for solo mode, and they each have different set of mods, keybindings, and UIs (the multibox version is very stripped down).
I only did it for keybindings, since I actually don't mind my macros being stored server-side -- you can use more options if you want everything just stored on the client and never put on the server.
