Karazhan - 4 bosses down, need advice.

Hey everyone,

Last night for fun we attempted Karazhan The first 4 bosses were not hard at all, and we thought we would be able to clear it. We made it to a few more bosses, but were not able to get through the curses, debuffs, etc. It reset today so we'll Fraps it tonight. There are two of us running 5 chars each.

Anyway, I am looking for advice for the best decurse/debuff add-on. For example, Maiden Of Virtue is not a tough fight, but she was wasting people with the Holy Fire spell (that can be dispelled), but manually looking and trying to cleanse people was too hard to do efficiently. What is a good program that will show who has the spell on them so we can quickly remove/dispel it?

Deadly Boss Mods will display on the screen who has the holyfire debuff. Plus having a frames addon (pitbull, xperl) will cause the cursed, sheeped, diseased, etc.... party member to have a nice cool glow around their party picture.

I keep seeing people using Grid. Is that a good one? Also, can I just get Decursive? Or do I need a grid add-on?

I didn't even spread out the other day when I 5 manned Maiden, just had my pally run in and my shamans right outside the circle area stacked on each other. I made sure grounding totem was always down, on my pally master I see my debuff list and whenever it drops to 1 grounding totems I mash my grounding totems key. Didn't get hit once by holy fire, she was down in < 2 mins. One thing I use for my grounding totem macro:

/stopcasting
/cast [nomod] Grounding Totem

(one of the shammies drops Wrath of Air instead of Grounding Totem). The /stopcasting is nice, since it'll interrupt any lightning bolt/cl/etc you may have to instantly drop a GT.

If one of your shammies is resto keep ES always up on the tank, if you stay outside the circle area none of your shammies will take much damage (at least heal totem and seal of light restored any) but your pally will be unhealable for a few seconds when she stuns everyone. My tank is pretty geared so it didn't matter, but if your tank isn't as geared you may want to have your shamans stand INSIDE the circle area -- they will take more damage (chain heal everyone often) but nobody stays stunned.

Tank runs towards the healers and then back to center - Maiden drops her consecrate and wakes them up - my healers are never out more than 3 seconds of the 12 sec stun.

Ummm.

You have 5 Shaman. For all that is good USE THEM! :P Spam grounding totems - they'll eat the holy fire. Just make sure you spread out your shaman enough that they'll cover every player in the raid.

/castrandom lightning bolt, grounding totem

Thats what I use. It works perfectly. Three shaman spamming it in my raids are enough to cover the all 10 players.

I'm an idiot lol. I wasn't refreshing these. That should make things pretty easy. What is a good add-on so I can see all the totems on my pally main?

Use decursive m8 it will show that you can dispell\decurse...
