Movement issues

Just started multiboxing, having a few problems.

1) Randomly, my alt will walk past my main and stop following, if I press follow again, it will walk past me again, this is stopped if I go to that window and press W or Up arrow

2) Also randomly, my alt's camera will tard out and start spinning around endlessly. This is stopped if I go to that window and alt tab back (My hunch is a mouse problem)

I get issue two as well,
What do you do to stop it, Cause once mine has started spinning i cant stop it

This usually happens when you've moved your mouse over your alt's window, held down a key, then moved the mouse out of the window before releasing the key, so that copy of WoW never sees the key-up event, and assumes the key is still being held down. To stop the toon running (or turning), move your mouse back over that window and press & release the same key (e.g. if your toon is running forwards, press and release "W" (or whatever your move-forward key is).

Alternatively, perhaps you pressed Numlock for auto-run, and you don't have Numlock on your do-not-pass list.

The other thing that will make followers run past you is if you haven't put the uppercase versions of aswd in your do-not-pass list, and you are using shift modifiers for spell casts while running around.

Is this for the Random screen spinning problem?

Hey Darkyoshi,

Answers to your issues:

1) This is a known bug from followers randomly continuing going straight. This is usually caused when your leader gets stunned/dazed / etc while running. This will cause your followers to continue in their straight path. Smash /folllow after stuns / dazes, and you shouldn't see this as much.

2) As other people have pointed out, if you mouse down and start a mouse look in wow, and then alt tab away you can get in a funky state. When you return to wow it still thinks the mouse is down and will try to do relative mouse movents to spin your camera accordingly. You can avoid this by ensuring that you have no key's pressed down when changing focus of wow.
