Hey guys, im looking for all the maxfps and maxfps bk commands. My game has slowed down when not using keyclone, just trying to figure it out. I used to be able to get up to 100 fps in shat with max settings, now im only getting 40 ish. This was pre patch as well. If anyone could shead some insight would be great. Thanks.

i may be missing something, but anything over 60 fps is worthless. the human eye cant detect the diference...

You're wrong on several counts. It's a gross oversimplification...let's start with that the eye is analog and that the brain is far better at catching changes than static images. The static rate is actually lower than that by about half (film is 24-30 FPS!), but even then it will look really unnatural if the frames were true momentary images. That's part of why generated motion imagery like a video game needs to go so much faster to look good. The frames really are true momentary images, so you need the extra frames to fool the brain into thinking the motion is continuous.Quote:

But enough with biology, fun as it is. The OP is looking for diagnostic data to see why it's going slow, not pretty pictures.
Had the same problem. My easy fix was to put my multibox wow folders into another drive. Then if i just wanted to play 1 or 2 i used their own folders :)
they upped all the graphics on the game, my fps also went down but only by 20 max particles increased view distance did, max players increased, max LOD scale inscrease , resolution on player models increase so yes the new patch hurt... this phased out one of my older computers and had to change setting to fix the options on it to even bea ble to get WoW to open
