started boosting in strath undead tonight and pulls that used to bring my blizzard dmg down to 70-75 dmg a tick is hitting at 250 and up lol anyone know if this is a bug or did they raise the ceiling on max dmg output of aoe spells.... gg loving it hopefully they don't hotfix
and i could be losing my mind... but my blizzard hasn't ever crit before now i'm seeing crits for 1k a tick zomg lol
I'm pretty sure they changed something. My guild did a quick Kara, all the places where you have to AoE, the other mage and I tore up!
Hope this affects warlocks as well... SoC damage cap really kills the pulls in higher instances, evne in SM takes about 5 SoC's to kill about two rooms worth of mobs.
Not sure what the cap is on the metamorphosis immolate aura, butI pulled 3 or 4 rooms in SM on the PTR and it was still hitting for the full amount. And now that spell pushback has a limit, you can cast hellfire or rain of fire with 500 mobs beating on you and it won't interrupt.
after more testing.... we do still have a dmg cap, its just conciderably higher than it previously was.... i pulled from the strath live entrance through the fountain that connects to barron side and still was ticking for 150+ its an incredible boost hope they don't change it feels like the good ole faxmonkey days.
from what i seen in blue posts, warlocks where never ment to be 1# AoE dmg like they where in BC. so mage got a big AoE boost.
Yep, caps have been raised... not sure how high they are now but it's pretty damn high.
