Does spirit tap and Imp drain soul work in a group?

Ok I could have swore they didn't. Heres what I'm talking about (Also this might change in 3.0.2)

pre 3.0 I'm pretty sure if you have spirit tap, you HAVE to land the killing blow to get it to activate right? So if I'm multiboxing a priest + 4 locks, and I dot everything up, and the corruptions kill the mob, my priest doesn't get spirit tap. Is this correct? If so, does this change in 3.0.2? Looks like theres new wording on spirit tap that doesn't specifically say you have to get the killing blow.

Same question about improved drain soul - if I'm doing 4x drain soul on a mob and 1 lock kills the mob, will all 4 locks get back 15% mana or just the one that made the killing blow?

This obviously completely changes how I will spec my characters tomorrow.

I would have thought that the drain soul would have worked since the regular version of it gives all group members a shard (I have a group of a priest and 4 locks). I'd like to think that spirit tap will as well, but I don't have any of the new talent calculators handy. I sure hope so, since I know it doesn't work right now, and I'd like to have a DK + 4 Shadow Priest group eventually.

Dang - well if anyone can test this after the servers come back up that would be great! I can't log in until tomorrow anyway and I don't want to spec into spirit tap only to find out it doesn't work and I have to respec!
