3.0 Lock Spec and Rotation for PvE

Hi everybody,
i have a lock in my 5 man (at lvl 80 10man) group but I can't come up with a proper spec and cast rotation for 3.0. He was destruction specced but i heard affliction is a decent way to spec with patch 3.0. Since this is the only lock in my crew i usually want him to have his imp out for the stamina (is this a bad idea?) for the tank. The cast rotation will be used as a spam macro, so i cannot manually keep track of dots etc. In case that it matters: the group contains of 1 mage, 1 lock, 1 shadowpriest, eleshammys and paladin tanks.
Any suggestions? What specs and rotations are you guys using for your locks?

Affliction looks to be higher dps then Destruction, at least according to Theorycraft and Elitistjerks.
But, because of the different times on all of the dots, the best rotation is to prioritize your dots, and recast the highest priority dot that is not up.
Boxing, this would be a nightmare.

Destruction is a little easier. Chaos Bolt at every opportunity, and Immolate/Incinerate with a Conflag as Immolate is about to expire.
Still not exactly easy while boxing.

I'd recommend Demonology. Not as high dps as the other two, in 3.x... but much easier to manage.
Do a castsequence with Curse of Elements/Pet Attack, Corruption, Immolate and Shadow Bolt spam.
Make that your "big" button which is mashed along with other classes main spells.
Not necessarily the optimal warlock dps, but certainly the highest dps if you're not really paying 100% attention to this window.
