With totem of wrath no longer stacking, how will people be speccing their shaman's. What I mean is if Shaman 1 gets totem of wrath, what talent will you be getting on Shaman 2,3,4,5?
Any ideas would be appreciated.

I was planning on 5x 51/10/0
1 guy with ToW (no elemental oath)
1 guy with 3/3 Enhancing totems (he drops flametongue)
the 4 non-tow guys with elemental oath
fire totems:
1 tow, 1 flametongue, 3 searing/magma/nova depending
so does:
flametounge totem x1
falemtounge weapon (on shaman's weapon)
and
totem of wrath x1
all stack??
From what I gathered, flametongue weapon stacks with ToW. I haven't confirmed but just going off what I've read
i would assume that flametongue weapon and flametongue totem are mutually exclusive as the totem just gives you the weapon buff like windfury totem. With 3/3 enchanced totems flametongue totem effect is 122 damage vs flametongue weapon buff at 124 damage.
Edit: i was thinking that the totem would be a better option then the flametongue weapon buff as I could use earthliving weapon buff as well...but I just realized that the totem would be giving me the flametongue weapon buff...
conclusion: fail
Ok, just checked. on the beta - both flametounge weapon and totem stack it looks like.
the totem just does flat out spell damage. the other imbues your weapon.
Wrath and weapon stack - I can't tell if wrath and flametounge totem stack though - I'll check it in a min.
Wow, thats freaking awesome!!
wow, thats freaking awesome!
ok:
Wrath and Flametounge totem do NOT stack.
also - you get a tiny bit more spell damage with wrath and 3% crit - that's it. Seems like a rip off for a 41 point talent.
So 1 tow, 4 searing/nova/magma?
i will speck mine with
1x totem of wrath
4x oath.
all 5 will have imp that self weapon enchant we elemental shammys will come to love from tomorrow on.
sorry i can not remember the name of that one right now
i am however unsure on the usefullness of the talentpoints in physical damage reduction and nature, fire and so on. reduction earlier on in the tree "for pve"
those talentpoints can be put in improved totem dps to help even out the odds a bit.
