So the night before I buy my new computer! I just wanted to run through the parts and specs with some of the vets here and people who really know computers much more than myself. I am looking to 5-box on this single machine, just a heads up. ^^

I am looking for any and ALL input on this machine, wether it be great or horrible! I want to get a great system that wont have to change much between now and Starcraft 2 :thumbsup: Thanks in advance everyone! I'll make sure not to purchase anything before checking this tomorrow as well, night night land lubbers!

that system must be like 2500 dollars, you obviously dont mind spending the money and it definatly looks sweet. i have that mobo processor and they're great (though the mobo runs a bit hot) and i also got some of that ram which im awaiting.

have you considered getting a ssd? if your dropping cash why not give one of them a shot?

i always thought the price to performance of sli wasnt worth it, but again looks like you arent really trying to save money.

looks like a good pick to me, but i would seriously consider getting a ssd, im very happy with mine and if you want serious performance ssd's will deliver.

about the heatsink. am2 and am2+ are the same. they're cross compatable (am2+ cpu will work in a am2 socket and vice versa) and physicaly identical so youll be able to mount the heatsink on am2+ just the same as am2. i dont know if youve ever installed an aftermarket heatsink but it can be frustrating. the one i have right now was manufactured to test my nerve. i went through the whole tube of thermal paste getting it on, so unless you know this heatsink maybe grab another tube of paste. ioono, but that that heatsink is good for the socket.

I've got the same amount of ram, at the same speed.
My video card is comparable.

The rest of my system is not quite as good as yours.
I 5-box warcraft, and the game runs fine for me.
I'd imagine your rig will be fine as well.

Thanks for the quick replies so far everyone! Bizcotti I was wondering if you could explain the SSD a little more, I've tried reading up on it and it seems just like an amazingly fast hard drive? But I only see them at 64GB for $299.99 which seems like overkill :pinch: I'm probably missing something little, can they hold as much as a normal hard drive? Or do you get them in addition to a normal hard drive? Soo confused :D
