looking for a CL/LB combo on my shamans

I have been playing around with some macros for chain lightning and lightning bolt macros but have yet to find one i like. I would like to find away to incorparate the castsequence for chain lightning with my /cast [exist,harm,nodead] lightning bolt;/stopmacro [exist,harm,nodead]; /assist party1; /cast [exist,harm,nodead] lightning bolt.

Im just looking to use chain lightning every 20 seconds or more while being able to maintain the lightning bolt and assist main part of my macro. Unfortunately i am messing up and only getting one or the other to cast.... ?(

well, if you're putting two /casts in the one macro only one will ever work.
The only exception to this are spells/trinkets/items that dont trigger the Global CD.

Casting every x amount of seconds, unless you use a castsequence, would be classed as automation, thus has been removed from the game.
The best you could hope for would be
/castsequence [harm] reset=20 Chain Lightning, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Bolt
or something along those lines.

No real need to exists,nodead if its a damage spell and you're not casting through a focus or target, it's redundant.

thanks, but what im looking for also is to have the assist in there for my slaves so that they will follow my target after the original is dead. :thumbup: I am by no means looking for automation just those two on the same button so my slaves and main can lead with chain then followed by bolt bolt bolt then repeat... or something like that.
