I found that 20-40 was the slow bracket for me. 40-60 flew by....
Some tips about granting levels:
1. Make sure the toon you're about to grant levels to is as close to levelling as possible. If they are 99% of the way through the level, and you grant them a level, they will be 99% of the way through the next level as well. You can effectively level to 61 this way (60 + 99% of the level).
2. If you have it set up so that the veteran acount refers another acount, which refers another account, and so on - you can get extra levels to grant. Lets say you have three accounts - A (veteran account) referring B. B also refers C. You level 3 toons to 60 on A, B & C - you now have 29 levels to grant on B & C. If you use C to grant levels to B, every two levels you grant, B will now be able to grant another level to A. In other words, C can grant B 29 levels, B can grant A 43 levels (29 + 14).
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
S.
2d 6h questing isn't that slow. At least it's faster than me :-)
My first group to 60, five shamans, took me almost 4 days, so I don't find 2 days slow neither.
I enjoyed myself in instances and levelled every gathering profession and (dis)enchanting on some of the team members, which took some time.
I'm busy with five hunters and five mages now. I find arcane explosion very efficient and fast, actually.
I'm doing 2 Hunters atm via questing, at 10 or 11 hours atm and lvl 24 already.
20-40 does seem like the slowest bracket... once you get 35-40 and hit DWM it speeds up a bit, Tanaris at 40 and a full ZF quest clear is just crazy XP.
Hit 50 last night on team 2 with 2days+3hrs (Priest/Mage/Warlock x3)
Team 1 hit 60 with 2days+12hrs (Boomkin+Shami x4)
The caster team has really started to get good with decent AoE heals, dots and hellfire+AE+HN when I feel like chain pulling around 10 mobs... Finishing a couple of Tanaris and Hinterlands quests up tonight and then on to WPL/EPL for the final stretch... should be 60 by the end of the week, then it's on to team 3 (hunter x2 + priest x3) and prepping my boosted Paladin for WotLK 60-80 (With a DK)
RAF rocks! :)
Well, then I am the slowest guy here. Even having leveled 5 toons to 70 solo earlier, knowing the best paths-quest to choose, it took me 5d played with my 1st team and 3d with second team.
The point: for the leader char I spent countless hours leveling professions up the max the level could carry.
And seems that for everybody 20-40 is the worst. This is also for me. But then 40-50 is like HELL, the most boring part of WoW... 50-60 then goes amazing, even more that 55-60 in WPL is in less than 2 hours with the RaF.
Wait, so the levels I granted count towards earned levels and can be granted again to that account's referrer? I assumed (yeah, yeah I know the alternative meaning to the word ;-) that the granted levels wouldn't' count towards levels that character can then grant to another. I guess this means I have an extra ~100-150 levels I can use to create more characters, lol. I'm almost done RaFing my 5th team of 5 to 60 and do have 5 daisy-chained accounts.Quote:

with badlands/dustwallow/tanaris/stv/hinterlands I don't think 40-50 is bad at all
for me it takes a while to do 9-20 and it's boring
oh well; I'm slow and live with it :-)
I did RFC, RFK and SM runs to 38. My 4 Mages are now at 48 with 1 day 2hours /played. I'll be interested to see how much longer it takes 'em to get to 58 (Outlands). I expect 58-->60 to zip by in Outlands.
