"Triple Exp?" (WoW)
I think I may have been misled. I killed a mob ungrouped and got roughly 50 exp...so then I was assuming I would get 150 exp per toon when grouped. Here's what really happened when grouped:
-Killed 1 mob, got 75 exp per toon. I guess 75 exp X 2 = 150 total exp. This is roughly triple what I got killing the mob by myself normally.
So, does it turn out in reality that you do get triple exp, but you just have to divide that by 2...so you really don't get that per toon? Or am I being cheated? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just trying to pound out these issues at work so I'm ready to roll tonight. Thanks!

Triple XP just means triple the XP that would normally be gained with the group, not compared to solo.
I.e. when solo a mob gives you 50 XP. Grouped with another person (group of 2 people) that is 25 each plus a group bonus (I believe for 2 people there is no bonus).
With RAF, that number is tripled so 25x3=75.

That's exactly it. Where the triple xp really shines is in quest rewards, not so much in the grinding (though you should still notice a difference if you are used to using groups to complete the grinding tasks)

You're comparing solo experience to group experience. Groups kills so much faster that they get less per kill. It's still a generous amount, though. Even if it works out to be only double of what you'd get solo, with 5 characters you tear things up way more quickly than twice as fast.
