You know if the mage image spell goes live there will be arena teams of 5 frost mages. That will be 25 guys that you will be up against (5 mages, 15 images, and 5 water elementals). How the hell can someone go against that? Don't for get they will probably go cast the images and elemental and go invisible before the fight and when you can see them they will probably ice block. I can see 5 mages getting to probably 1700 easy, but after that maybe not. So how do you kill them?
I would not be surprised if they disable that spell for arena similar to how you cannot use your Fire elemental or Earth Elemental in arena's.
well they sort of didn't disable earth/fire elementals, anything that has over a 10 min cd on it you cannot use in arena (elementals have a 20 min cd) and the image spell is a 3 min cd so they will be able to use it. If they change it to 11-higher there wouldn't be a problem.Quote:

Personally, I think this spell will be a non-factor in arena's primarily because of LoS. 5 mages pop MI, just run behind a pillar and /laugh, just like they do against our WE now.
Also, AoE wrecks MI currently.
It'd be a fun gimmick team, but I don't think it's going to be all that great against good players.
