I'm new to quad boxing, so I want to know what you experts think about this team.
4 shadow priest.
I get x4 silence for the annoying casters and for the melle classes I get psychic scream(4 secs horror in WOTLK).
With 4 vampiric embraces i'll be healing for large ammounts.
And the new dispersion looks really sweet.
So anyways do you guys think a team like this would be good in PVP.
Not really. They really beat shadow priests down with the nerf bat in certain areas. Seems the blues want to make them raid dps viable along the lines of a mage while stripping them of all their synergy and party buff utility that used to be so sweet for multiboxing.
Here's the most recent change to dispersion.
Dispersion - Damage reduction lowered to 60% from 90%. Now only regens mana, not health and mana.

Improved Shadowform - Movement impairing effects removal effect removed.
Misery - No longer increases the damage of your Mind Blast, Mind Flay and Mind Sear spells by an amount equal to 15% of your spell power.
Improved Fade - Now also reduces the cooldown of your Shadowfiend ability by 1/2 minutes.
Seems they hate spriests...
And you only gain mana from one of the Vampiric touches now.
On the upside:
Mindflay will crit
MB and SW:D will get 100% critbonus.
Also: silence is only 20y range. Same with Mind Flay (though you can 'glyph' it to 30y range but this removes the slowing effect).
For PVP I think you're better off with hunters/shamans/mages or warlocks than shadowpriests.
I don't see enough changes that will make shadow priests very tough to kill in pvp. I've always gotten the impression they are one trick ponies.. only one nuke and it has a cooldown. AoE horror just got removed, so your only cc will be fear which everyone can get out of.
But then again, 4 shadow priests sounds fun for some reason
For PvE, the way stuff works on live in TBC, 4 spriests are big win!
can you elaborate? I am pretty upset after lvling 4 priests that they changed so much shit about the class. Horror was to be my big benefit, and they nerfed the hell out of our viability in pvP these last few patches.Quote:

Sure I can. 4 spriests = 4 aoe fear, VE speaks for itself, VT...this is the real thing, since spriest mana/dmg isn't that good, but with 4 Vampiric Touch that solves everything. If you aren't using shadowform, 4x renew etc. etc.
