PvE Class Combinations enchancements

Hi all. I finally succumbed to the multiboxing urge about a month ago, and just got my Pally/Mage x2/Shammy x2 team to 60 (farewell, RaF bonus...I hardly knew thee)

This forum was invaluable in getting up and running, and I love wiki editing, so I've attempted to "give something back." I added some..."things to consider," I suppose, to this page:

Having spent some time on the big Wikipedia, I have this dirty feeling from writing "original research" based on my recent experience and copious forum lurking. I've attemtped to express the communal wisdom, so I'd like to know if you think its in the right place (should some of it be on the main "Classes" page?), and any content corrections from the veterans would be greatly appreciated.

Nice, only problem I had with it was when you said no matter what at some point you will NEED CC. If you have a paladin tank you dont NEED it but its nice to use if its there.

Without CC you might need to overlevel or outgear an instance somewhat. My solution to this "problem" until WotLK is simply to spam big phat heals since I will have awesome
manaregen. If you can keep aggro on all mobs, then CC isn't needed.

Keeping aggro on all mobs isnt a problem with a pally tank. Concecrate and holy Shield hold the exras while you focus on the one mob.
The advantage of multi-boxing is that you dont have some random attacking the wrong mob and pulling aggro. All your clones are attacking the mob that your still building threat on the most.
By the time the first mob is dead they have no chance of pulling aggro on the extras due to the fact youve been building aggro on them with your concecrate and shield damage.
Also if your healer is drawing aggro then youve got a little problem, but thats what taunt is for.

What I had in mind was high level heroics (perhaps Kara, for those few that attempt it) - I haven't really gotten past the Tier 4 area in my soloing career, so I'm not sure whether even the higher-level badge gear "outgears" these to a degree that you can get away without CC. Should I qualify the statement more (ie. "If you want to run end-game Heroics, you need CC"), or is it really a false statement? Can a Pally+4xShaman team get through all the heroics?

CC is most often encountered in Arena.
It does occur with solo play, example 1 mage vs 2-3 humanoid mob pull.

I've not really seen it much in battlegrounds.
Well stuns yes, but not much Sheep, Banish, Cyclone, Root, etc.

In heroics, people wanted it during Burning Crusade, at least initially.
By the time Tier 4 was done, and toons were raiding in Tier 5...
Most viewed CC as a method to slow heroics down and take too long to do a run.
Once the gear is there a little, this is true.

In Wrath, almost no one wants CC in heroic level runs.
Even off of the bat. But then Wrath heroics are barely any harder then Wrath normal dungeons.

In raids, certain encounters almost demand CC.
At least if the raid is a challenge for your gear level and offers improvements to most of the raid group.
There were quite a few Sheep/Seduce/Fear pulls in Tempest Keep.
There were some Banish/Sheep pulls in Ulduar.
