Arena Week Summary for 9-8-2008 (39-14, 1882 rating)

Well let me start of by saying that I achieved a new personal best of 1921 this week.

My S3 shoulders still Elude me, but I think they're within grasp this week. I took a /2 Pug priest from 1500 to 1780 and then took an old friend for the rest of the ride.

I destroyed every team except for the well calculated S4 - 4DPS+Healer team. I saw the importance of taking out their DPS first. Nuked the healer and it made no difference in the outcome. I must say it was funny when I did it a couple games earlier to a team that charged in and I just destroyed their entire team while they killed my healer. What comes around goes around?

Not really a lot to reflect on except my new bar rotation set up in combination with the target=targettarget is has been game changing. Landing that first heal on my main and being able to focus a target does incredible things for my game.

quick question for you guys using this new target method, i know its the wrong forum really but feh!

I use E for chain lightning, i used to use SHIFT-E for my instant nuke

I dont seem to be able to do this with the new system, do you guys just have that ability bound to a new key with out a modifier? (Assuming you might have done similar before ofc)

This is how I handle the keybindings...I actually bind a key with the modifier ie. lshift+E = button 1.

I use lshift modifiers for my spells that would normally be used to target my target and the lshift to designate spells for my focus ("F" for lightning bolt on my current target and "lshfit+F" for lightning bolt on my Focus). Using the Bar Paging approach the focus spells do not need to be on the Paging Bar. Once you have your focus is doesnt change. The ability to set a focus from each toon does change so that macro will need to be different and on the Paging Bar.
