Some amazing other wallpapers that really give your desktop an extra "awe inspiring" feel. This is where I found Adolescent Eyes which I have used for my background for over a year.

I had to render my own, not much 5120 x 4800 wallpaper out there!
Very nice stuff there, great link :)

nice,
so it is not a spanned desktop then!
the reason I ask is I ran into probs trying to span across 2 monitors 1920x1200 + 1600x1200 on a Radeon 2950XT... just wouldn't happen
I have hardware switches to switch the monitors to alternate computers when I box. So it is dual viewed for normal desktop use and then I swap over to box. Running 5 copies of WoW, even on this 4 gig quad core machine is possible but still less than ideal. I suppose I could try fiddling with horizontal spanning and see if that would make it playable but for the time being, this works about as good as possible.
how are your neck handling that? :PQuote:

I guess you could place them at some distance to get a better view of them without moving your head too much, but then again, full resolution would make everything kinda small and hard to see.
I love it. I sit about 4' away and it fills my primary field of view. Beyond that, I have 3 17" turned vertically (just like the 30"s) on either side.
Roughly 35 megapixels of information. I use the 17"s to monitor stocks, futures, commodities, etc as they update in real time. I more glance at those than stare. The main 30" ones I combine with VNC computers and virtual machines so I can process a ton of stuff at once (rendering, scanning, searching etc) without bogging down my main system or resorting to clustering, etc. It really helps to be able to VNC into a rendering station and interact with it then minimize it and let it do its work.
I find it fills up my field of view without being SO big that I can't see everything without neck strain but this is due more to the design than anything else. If you were to just put 6 of them out there, they would not work well if you wrapped them around your desk. I mount them vertically and stack them 3 wide and 2 high. I mainly browse the net on the 30" in front of me (which gives me TONS of text, posts, etc without scrolling) but I had to design and build a custom chair, desk, hoist and supports to comfortably suspend the monitors in such a way that I can see above and below horizontal. The way I am suspending them just would not work on a desk. Simply putting them on a desk would result in too much strain and vastly suboptimal viewing.
I will post pictures at some point - it will make sense then.
