Does anyone have "Multiboxing ADD"? I have two "Main" groups and a few "Alt" groups. No matter what I do, I get totally sick of questing on one of them and switch off to the other, and so on. My highest group is 51 and my second highest is 36. I know, I'm still new at everything but I'd just like to at least get one group to 60 and feel like i've accomplished something.
I'm right there with you. My highest group (not counting my original main, which they are leveling to catch up with) is just about 51. Bear in mind they all have their professions dealt with, but still. I've decided that I'm dealing mostly with one other alt group until the mains hit 70. My biggest hang-up is always wanting to try new things.
X 5 Shammies @ 46(Firetree), X 3 Mages @ 29(Firetree), X3 Druids @ 18 (firetree), X5 Locks @ 4 (Magtheridon). i've decided to stick with the shamms to 70/80 (during the weekdays), then boost /level the druids (on the weekends), probably level the locks after the druids, but I need to transfer one of my 70's to mag to help out with gold / bags / enchants. I reserve the right to change my mind.... so yeah.... and I see Pallies on the Horizon.
Real question is does it matter ?
As long as your having fun, and dont get frustrated when levelling all these groups its all good i would say :)
I personally like levelling alot aswell. I just finished my 5 box grp to 70, and now i am making a druid. Just for the fun of it :p

I've been doing this since open beta of WoW.. Almost all of my character slots are full of alts. :S
I was pretty hyped up about leveling my mages this morning, but comcast went down for the day...
My other half actually reached the global cap the other week i didnt even know there was one but it would not let her create a character unless she deleted one on a different server (she has a lot of alts on multiple servers) this may of been a bug as i never got it confirmed. I introduced her to multibox this weekend so now she is working on filling up the other account :p
on a side note can anyone confirm if there is a max amount of characters you can have per account? as in total on all realms.
It's a max of 50 characters per account. After that, if you want to make a new character, you'll have to delete an old one.
I ought to know this answer, as all 3 of my accounts are filled to the brim with lvl 4 and 5s on otherwise unused realms. (My kids like to make toons and run them around the starter areas. 4 or 5 is usually about as far as they get before they get bored with it.)
for a good example of this, look at the crappy characters in "Quix Inc" of gurubashi. I've spent way too much time on alts.
