These talent trees aint finaly so i realy dont see much point arguing, and NG is crap in my eyes compared to astral shift.

You havent specced Eye of the storm??

You lose so manny talents deeper in elemental and we have no idea how Thunderstorm will work in WOTLK.

Don't know, it's so hard to say. It's still so insecure how the totems will work with stacking and whatnot.
But as it is now, i think i would take Thunderstorm over Nature's Swiftness. The survivability you get with that talent is too big to ignore.

With the awesome deep elemental talents now, I don't think the 51/0/20 spec is the only way to go anymore. Especially since they moved totem mana reduction to tier 1 resto.


Edit: And insta ghost wolf is massively useful in all forms of pvp.
Edit: 5/5 unrelenting storm has good synergy with +10% intellect.

like was said, many things can change at this stage. i think we're 3/4 months away from WotlK and its really nice to discuss these things already, but keep in mind, they can change anytime.

magwo, what if thunderstorm gives u that time to cast spells at will? and another thunderstorm, and another one, and they are dead in middle air?

big problem is, what will the opponents have to counter u, and what should u have as an all around solution? u'll have plenty of time while leveling to 80 to see whats best for u.

Well, with the current talent trees, I don't think I will want to put 20 points in resto. +5% lightning crit is good and all, but the alternative has tons more utility.
