RAF- summoning tip

Yah, so I found out that the summoning cooldown only counts between the two characters who exchanged the summon. So you can summon multiple times between other RAF characters within the 1 hour cooldown. You can summon as many characters on the linked account as you want with with the same character and the only cooldown being between the two characters who shared the summon. This means that you can create a few fresh new charaters and move them to a major city, I ported mine with my mage to Shatt, and have a summon ready for the toons you're leveling whenever you need one.

Easymode summary: Create a new toon and move him to Shattrath. When you need a summon to Shattrath for you characters you're leveling, use your new character to summon one of your leveling party, then summon the other with the character you just summoned and so on, or use lots of low levels planted in Shattrath to summon your group.

keep in mind you can only summon while the accounts are linked (90 days), after that its gone. What I did was level up 4 warlocks to 20 (hand level to 10, then got gifted to 20) and have them parked around the world with bags full of shards, that way even long after RAF goes away I can move them around and use them as summoning slaves. Ones in shattrah (although I have a mage so not as useful), ones right in front of scarlet monastary, ones in front of BRD, and ones at LHC.

Oh that and the fact that I no longer think I am a freak for multi-boxing... but that's a whole other story.

I've got two RAF accounts and my main 5x account shaman team -- with 2 alts on the RAF accounts and 2 on my main accounts. With this setup I can log onto my main lvl 70 linked accounts, fly/port to wherever I need to go, then summon the 2 RAFs. Once there I'll log off the mains and onto the alts to have the RAFs now summon the alts. Poof 4 box team from thousand needles to tauren mill in 2 mins.

Other trick I've been using is having my abandoned hunter (very old main -- check out the armory , full GS -- fancy) on follow and joining/leaving party as needed with aspect of the pack up. Yeah, I hate running around.

Epic Idea with the hunter, I gotta do that, mine won't look anywhere as cool as yours though.

Yeah. Once I finish my four hunters I'll team up -- but I'll have to keep the 8/8 giantstalker at the ready.

Bind a party invite/autoaccept and this "/script LeaveParty()" to different keys. You won't want your hunter to kill the xp gain.

Two more quick Stupid RAF Summon Tricks. You guys may already know this, but it wasn't obvious to me right away.

1) If a lowbie dies (I am new at this, and occasionally if I miss an aggro, they gank my lowbies) just ressurect them at the spirit healer, then summon them back into your instance via the linked buddy. Corpse runs are too long and suck all the fun out of multiboxing, and who cares if your lowbie has ressurection sickness: it doesn't affect XP :)

2) I have 1 account that referred 3 friends. The main can only summon 1 linked buddy at a time, so it's hard to get all 4 lowbies in a new spot, like the Scarlet Monestary. Instead, ride there on a linked 70, then summon a lowbie to the summoning stone. Log off the 70, get on the lowbie on that account, and summon him. Then group up and use the stone to bring the other 2 stragglers. You still have to run a little bit, but not nearly as far as the IF -> SM run.

Wierd, i don't think it works like this for me, I will have to check it out later. I have 1 main and 3 RAFs, and if I summon a friend from the main, I can't (i think) summon any of the other friends. I will try it out again later to mank sure. I Know I can go friend 1 -> summon main -> summon RAf 2 but raf 3 is SOL because the main is on coold down.
