Camera Angles and Looting Question.

I am trying to figure out a way I can make both characters at least be clicking in the relative same spot, but this is very hard at the moment because of different camera angles and such. I use 2 computers with Octopus, everything works fine, but I have just been questing on one guy while the other goes on follow and just attacks/gets kill xp...

But I am finding they are getting apart in levels and I am having to "grant" the follower, so I would like to find a way to start being able to click both on the same things and have them quest together, any suggestions outside of playing both in a First Person view(which I hate to do and actually is almost as hard because the follower always clicks on the main in front of him and not the NPC or loot)

I do see some camera settings in the config.wtf but I see no way to "lock" them both in say a fully zoomed out view.
