My 4-pack has done 24 BG's so far - for an average of only 280 honor per match. That means about 71 more matches to be able to even get one weapon, or about 30 hours just for one item in game.
That's pretty lame. I see people talking up over 1000 honor per hour - it just doesn't happen that fast on my server.
Make me want to hurt devs for very non-fun game dynamics. :(
if i would at some point see how many games and hours i would need to get PvP geared, i would cut my wrists :P
play it for fun, gear matters and u like to be geared, but if u think too much about points, games and hours..u gonna get crazy
Does your server run AV premades? That's the fast way to get honor. gives you about 600 honor a game or like 1200 on a honor weekend. I do a little AV here and there, but to be hoenst I like to just hop in eots and ab and play for fun without watching my honor. I'll get enough eventually, and the marks are needed as wellQuote:

Tbh i cant wait to hit 70 and do AV for xxxx hours straight with 5 shamans :)
Me and my mate who also 5 box +2-3 friends camping IB/FW we should pretty well be able to stop the raid while mounted...

I agree with the two dudes above me. But I do understand the idea of grinding out a weapon or something that will make a big difference in your PvE group. The Season 2 gavel comes to mind for my tank :/
If honor is what you want... get in some premade AVs. We were getting something like 400-600 honor every 11 minutes. If you have never been in a premade, or before you go looking for one, get the Preform AV Enabler Add-on. That way, when you find a premade AV group, you won't be kicked because you don't have it. They will not wait for you to download it. Once you have it installed, all you need to do is keep the battlemaster window open and the group leader will queue you.
WSG, AB and EOTS give crap for honor and take too long, but you will still need the marks if you want the season 2 gear. I know I'm going to get a lot of crap for saying this.... but if you want the AB/WSG/EOTS marks quickly, just do nothing. You make up a good portion of the team. A 4 minute loss generates more marks of honor than a 30 minute win (if you win). If you want to be successful at "losing", start a premade for losing. Get everyone one the same page. Camp graveyards for the honor kills.
I haven't looked closely at the armor, but the 26,500 honor weapons decimate anything I can get my paws on in 5-man PvE hunting or instancing. (I haven't tried one yet, but I'm pretty sure my 4-pack can't handle a heroic, even with a good 5th live player, especially not a boss to get the badges...)
I could camp Lower City instances for rep and get the fairly good mace, but that doesn't shake a stick at the 26,500 honor weapons even for PvE action. :(
If I could somehow take on heroics, and go after badge gear I'd do that in a heartbeat instead. Tiny guild really limits options...
That's almost a very, very evil thought - doing my four plus a few friends to lose eots matches. Sounds just wrong to do though.

If you hold 4 spots with afking you WILL get reported alot and atleast in the EU blizzard deals out 3 hour bans - 24 hour bans.. If you absolutly want to lose fast join a "lose-fast-premade" and fill 15 spots so that you wont ruin bgs for people on your own side atleast.
Battlegrounds is already destroyed with pve people and this wont make it better...
