Paying for keyclone
I was wondering if there was a way to pay for keyclone via the website... my buddy is wanting to multibox, and he has a PC... I told him I would pay for his key, but I cant seem to find the link to get a key from the website, and I cant open the keyclone program since I use a mac.
So is there a way to pay via the website?

You need your friend's System ID in order to pay for keyclone.
Once you have the System ID, you can either pay via paypal on your friend's computer, or PM keyclone with the system ID and I'm sure he'll direct you where to go from there.
Keyclone's user name on these forums is "keyclone". ;)

thanks!
one more question... might sound noobish... how does one find their system ID? neither myself or my buddy know where to find that.
edit: found it, thanks

system id
Well now i'm going to ask the same question and sound stupid. Where is the system id?
-
it is listed on the about keyclone page...

http://solidice.com/keyclone/screenc...m_id_v1.8k.jpg
find that either by right-clicking the tool tray icon, or going to keyclone/setup/about

Hey all. Along these lines I am trying to download the program to start my multi-boxing xp, but I am getting an error
The error I get is
Can't create output file c:\program files\keyclone\msvcrt.dll
Not sure what to do to fix it. It is probably something really dumb, but please help teach an old dog a new trick

Are you using Vista? If so.. Try making it unzip to a different location.. Like not in Program Files

@Sladechipset
taht's usually a vista permissions issue.
basically, when you install keyclone, you MUST:
- right-click/run-as-admin
- hit 'unzip'
- when it's finished, close the install binary
- find the keyclone folder
- RIGHT-click+drag keyclone.exe (the keyclone with the ice cube icon) to the desktop
- release... select 'create short cut here'.. DO NOT MOVE OR COPY
- right-click the short cut / properties
- advanced
- 'always run-as admin' (or whatever the wording is)
- hit ok.
that will insure your permissions are correct under vista
i hope that helps,
Rob
