V1.8K : Buffer Overrun
Hi Bob, I'm suddently encountering a Buffer underrun error with the latest build of keyclone.
The bug happens when I launch the 3rd wow window... The first time it occurs my PC frost instantly after keyclone tried to launch the 3rd windows... the next time, the microsoft C++ visual basic show an error windows telling me that a buffer overrun was detected and forcing me to force quit keyclone...
I've reinstalled the latest build, recreated my keyclone.ini from scratch... and again... the 3rd windows won't launch ...I don't know what to do next ...
have some idea ?
Thanks

you may wish to update to the latest version 1.8k (a free update) that was released on 21 Jun 2008 from the link at the top of the page. 1.8i has known issues.

my mistake.. I'm already using the .k version .. as I mentionned it in "latest build" I just read a folder name that was 1.8i... but I'm having this overrun buffer error with the 1.8k version.

hmmm... have you tried closing keyclone and removing the keyclone.ini file?
try that and see if you still have the problem

yup.. as mentionned.. I removed the .ini and recreated one from scratch ...
I found that Maximizer app wont launch either .. there was some trouble switching game to 840x525 resolution ... I found that my 3rd wow was set to be in full screen mode (I don't remember that setting). Ive launched it normaly, and redone the settings to be windowed and all.... that resolved the issue...
thanks anyway

I would like to bump this, i know its a bit old, but i had the same thing happen to me. For some reason or another, my 3rd window of WoW was set to full screen instead of windowed mode... And when keyclone would try to open third window and resize it, I'd get the buffer underrun error and have to shut down. Also, i've noticed when i try to close keyclone 1.8k thru the tray icon, it doesnt close and makes my system laggy (the mouse jumps around as i move it)
After resetting window 3 to windowed mode, no more error. Keyclone, you might add some kind of check to make sure the program isnt trying to open a fullscreen window of wow :)
