3 Boxing & Quests

Hey there guys.

Long time lurker, first time poster. :)

I successfully Dual Boxed a Priest/Warlock combo to 70 not too long ago and had a blast doing it.

I mainly quested them to 70, and never had any crazy issues. But, I am starting off a new adventure. 3 boxing.

I was toying aroudn with 3 Shamans since they are ranged, good support, etc... Anyway... What my biggest issue is selecting the NPC's.

I use all the addons that will allow me to accept the quests and such, but what kills me is going back and passins the quest to my slaves.

When you say pass.. you mean accepting the quests on all your slaves?

Have you setup an accept macro? Then you collect the quests on your main, and just share them to the group, and pop the accept macro cloned to all your boxes, hence giving your boxes all the quests. Easiest way I've seen to be able to pass the quests to boxes.

another option is to use the Multiboxer v2 addon. it will automatically accept shared quests, so just accept the quest for you main, then click "share quest" in your quest log to pass them to your slaves.

i've not had a problem with that yet, but I don't quest much.

After doing some more searching, what I was trying to do isn't possible without 3rd party applications. (Damn!)

But Multiboxer works great for the accepting part, it just sucks turning them in. :P

Multiboxer v2 will work for turning in quests as well - as long as you want everyone to get the same quest reward ;)

^^^ Leaned that the hard way, but I do have a fix, changed who they should look at for what item to get from party1 to "Name" of my first shammy so all the they all get the same item but my pally gets whatever. Have not tested it yet but from what I saw in another post about follow it should work,
