Unfortunately, I do not have any videos.... but I consider myself to be pretty successful with 3 boxing.
For the first time (as of last night) I have a 1558 rating in arena (woot, brutal pants.. just a few arena points short ;( ) I have played about 200-300 games in total. For the first 100 games, I lost about 90 of them. I was used to PvE and BG's where mobs don't LoS and people are focused on other players in PvP. It takes a lot of games to get used to it.
I own face in the battlegrounds however you need to remember that you are only 3 out of the 10/15/40. You still need everyone else to do their part, so don't be surprised when you lose. Most people want to follow you around in the bg's instead of fighting/capping. Not much you can do about it.
I can 3-man most regular instances. For the one's that I can not solo, I do not need a tank or healer. Any dps class works.
I don't really run heroics. Not interested in PvE gear. I've run a few, w/ tank and healer or just two healers... no problems.
Own? Depends on how good you are. :)
As the boxer over me stated.. A crap player will in most cases end up beeing a crap multiboxer..
If you realy want to own i suggest you tune your skills to the max with one and the most importan thing is to learn all classes useful abilities and how they can be countered.
I personally played Warlock, paladin, druid, warrior and rogue to 70 and grinded atleast 50-80% of the s1 gear. Brought a mage to 67 and pvped alot with it..
Ive so far "semi" twinked Hunter and my priest wich both now are 40 (not twinks anymore ofc)
And now atlast im multiboxing shamans.
I pretty much every pro and con with all classes and how to counter them but my weakness is clearly that i havent played one class long enough apart from my warlock (wich i hated in tbc due to rogues and clos)
I cant execute things right but with my shamans i will be alot more arena focused then i am now.
Atleast for me playing the chars realy teaches me the weaknesses of the class.
What I mean is will I still have enough firepower to really kick some butt in pvp or am I just living half the dream by not doing 5?
It depends what sort of PvP you are intending on doing :)
Vs 1 character you should always win.
vs 2 characters you might lose if they are clever
vs 3 characters you will probably lose if they are any good.
vs 4 characters you will probably only beat crap players.
Well I don't want to sound like a snoby nub but right now I have 4 lvl 70s and I just felt the next step in the game for me is this tri boxing (thats all wife approved me for ) lol
So I would like to think I know how to play but of course there is always someone better out there and I probably will need to be pwnt MANY times to realize how to play this right.
I would love to do 3v3 in arena as just me. Would I have enough fire power or should I pick up a rogue and a paladin and do 5s?
World pvp I know if I tick one guy off enough I will have several people there to beat my butt....and from just questing in goldshire and westfall I am getting somewhat use to people following me around all the time and trying to flame me and kill my mobs.....So I know if one horde sees me most likely I would get camped for a while by his buds.
I just want to make sure I have enough firepower with 3 shams or if I should just hang it up cause it is futil.
